Dr Rachel Capon, MPA Sustainability Programme Manager, has been confirmed in the role of Coordinating Lead Author for the Carbonation of Cement and Lime Chapter in the 2027 IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) Methodology Report on CDR (Carbon Direct Removal) and CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage). This very important work will provide key support for the recognition of carbonation of lime and cement products and the role they can play in the Climate Change arena.
